The health of our planet being essential to the existence and prosperity of our nation, our purpose is to add the following amendment to the US Constitution:
The health of our planet being essential to the existence of the United States the right to a healthy and sustainable environment will not be infringed.
Any actions that cause environmental degradation or habitat destruction, either short term or long term, are prohibited.
Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.
